Hi, I’m Meg, a British-Canadian freelance writer based in southeast London. I grew up in Canada and, after studying English and Drama at the University of Toronto, I moved to the UK where I completed a two-year acting degree at LAMDA. I began writing professionally in 2019. These days, I can usually be found covering all things culture, including classic films, rom-coms, period dramas, TV, Millennials, pop culture, books, style, lifestyle and relationships.

I am a frequent contributor to Glamour, InStyle, and Stylist. My writing has also appeared in The Guardian, Cosmopolitan, Refinery29, GQ, The Daily Beast, the i, i-D, Vulture, Little White Lies, Insider, the Independent, Bustle, Notion, Literary Hub, and more.

Over the course of my career, I’ve interviewed actors, directors, costume designers, and musicians. Select highlights include Celine Song, Bella Hadid, Bessie Carter, Charlotte Gainsborg, Mona May, Lola Tung, Sara Bareilles, Jessie Ware, and Shirley Henderson.
